BH&T offers a program of summer articles for students currently enrolled in their second year of law school. The program begins in May and continues until mid-August. Summer students are paid the same monthly salary as that paid to articling students. Summer students who return to article at the firm are provided with a generous contribution towards third year tuition.

Summer students participate with articling students in two rotations - Business and Litigation - which cover most areas of the firm's practice. In-house seminars are conducted twice monthly on topics supplementary to those generally covered in a student's articles.

British Columbia applicants and out-of-Province applicants who wish to interview in Vancouver in October are asked to submit summer articling applications by September 10, 2010.

Applications may be submitted by regular mail or by e-mail.  Applications must be complete when sent (i.e. resume, transcripts and letters of reference, if you wish, must all be submitted at the same time).  If applying by e-mail, please provide all of your documents in a single PDF attachment.  Incomplete applications, and those submitted by e-mail in a form other than the one requested, will not be considered.
